  1. Tell us about yourself.

My name is Leah Irons. I’m from Allen, TX and I’m the Head Coach/ Owner (by marriage) of CrossFit Ammo.

  1. Favorite CED shirt or tank?

My favorite CED shirt is the Army Green “America Strong” tank top.

  1. What’s one fitness / health goal you’re working toward?

I’m working toward The Games. Going all the way!

  1. What’s one BIG (non-fitness) goal you’re competing to achieve right now?

Enjoying the moments I’m given. I am a planner and I like to think ahead or think back on the past. One thing I try to remember every day is to live in the moment.

  1. What’s one obstacle you’re proud to have overcome in life?

During 17.3 last year in the Open, I completely dislocated my elbow. That was the first major injury I’ve ever had so mentally it was difficult to overcome. I can say now that that incident and the long road to recovery is over. I overcame it and I’m going to continue to grow from it.

  1. Favorite quote

Control what you can control.

  1. What does Compete Every Day mean to you?

CED, to me, means striving to be the best version of myself every single day. No matter what I’m doing or where I’m at.

  1. Who/what do you compete for?

I compete because I GET to. I have been blessed with so much and I get to use those gifts daily. The least I can do is use those gifts to the best of my ability.
