Favorite CED shirt or tank?
My favorite tank is the "Life is Worth Competing for" tank. It's better than the whole "Life is good" saying because it can be so much better than good. It can be great and amazing if you want it to be. It's the process of getting there that can be rough because it isn't always good. Sometimes life sucks. Sometimes it beats you down. Sometimes it pushes you into that deadly mindset of accepting the negative circumstance or settling. It's times like these when you need to remember that it is all worth it. The pain of overcoming something challenging, and the discomfort that growth brings, are both worth it. Life can be amazing if you want it to be, so it's always worth competing for.

What’s one fitness / health goal you’re working toward?
Competing at the CrossFit Games is my ultimate goal. I am working towards finding and reaching my fitness potential, while enjoying the journey.
-
What’s one BIG (non-fitness) goal you’re competing to achieve right now?
I am going 100% in on my fitness goal, since it is such a challenging one. I don't have any big non-fitness goals I am competing to achieve at the moment. The main thing I focus on outside of the gym is experiencing as much of life as I can, whether that is hiking and exploring nature, or reading and working on personal growth, I am always focused on pushing forward in every aspect of my life. Avoiding comfort and avoiding staying stagnant is my main focus.

What’s one obstacle you’re proud to have overcome in life?
The obstacle I am proud to have overcome in life is one that I will always have to battle. Being diagnosed with Lupus. Currently I am off all medication due to my lupus being under control and I plan to stay that way for as long as I can.

Favorite quote
What doesn't kill me makes me stronger. I decided a long time ago that I would never allow a challenging situation set me back in life. I decided I would use it to strengthen me, regardless of what the situation is. This is how I have always approached life.
- What does Compete Every Day mean to you?
To me, Compete Everyday means to work towards winning the day, everyday. It's not just about challenging yourself in a fitness competition. It's about challenging yourself in life everyday. It's about working to push past the limits of what you believe is possible. Competing Everyday is how you find your true potential.
- Who/what do you compete for?
I compete for my life and being able to live the best one I can. I compete to challenge myself, to stay healthy, and to push past my limits. I compete for my happiness, my health, and my ability to spread inspiration to others. I compete because always moving forward in life is what truly makes me feel alive.
