It's Not Up to Your Past

It's Not Up to Your Past

It's not up to your past to define your future.

Too many people are letting it though.

What happened then does not have to determine who you are tomorrow, nor how you show up today. So why do we allow it to?

Most of it can be traced to poor self-belief. We think because we've always done something one way, we'll always have to do it that way.

We allow how we behaved at 18 to determine how we act at 30. I don't know about you, but who I was at 18 is waaaaaay more immature, ignorant, and unaware of life as I was at 30.

Hopefully as you age, you grow mentally. Change is inevitable, but for Competitors, growth is the option forward we choose.

Your past doesn’t have to define who you are today - or cement who you’ll be in the future.⁣

Tomorrow is influenced by the story you start writing today. ⁣

Show up today and make choices independent of your past. Choose actions today that align with who you want to be tomorrow, not who you were "back then."
