    Why I Compete: Taylor Muhleman

“I compete for myself, because I don’t want to be the person I was 5-6 years ago!”

    1. Tell us a little about yourself.

My name is Taylor Muhleman, 27 years old from San Antonio, TX! I am currently a cosmetologist and part time Crossfit coach at Bedlam Crossfit. I love what I do in both of my jobs, because I get to better people, and make them feel better about themselves!

    2. What’s a typical day look like for you?

My days are a little crazy, and each day is a little different! Monday and Tuesday’s I am at the gym coaching all day, and am also in charge of the apparel. I love the days I get to spend all day at the gym, seeing all of our members!

Wednesday through Saturday I work in the salon. I am self employed, so essentially I run my own little business inside a bigger business! It’s gets crazy at some points, but also very gratifying at the end of the day, knowing that people feel good about themselves when they leave! After I get off of work, I head to the gym, where I train for about 2 hours!

Just about everyday I get home about 8:30, make dinner, take dogs for a walk, and get ready for the next day!

    3. How did you get started on your current fitness journey?

I compete to better myself, my movements, and my overall performance. Don’t get me wrong, growing as an athlete is awesome, but I want to continue to get better not only because I am stronger, but most importantly, because I believe in myself. – Aaron Palomo, #WhyICompete
